Thanks to your generosity at the BAS Presentation evening, this week we were able to hand over the incredible sum of £2350 for the Bone Cancer Centre Appeal, which is an ongoing fundraiser at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry.
The appeal is to help fund a new £2million state-of-the-art centre at the hospital, which will enable patients to be treated in a specialist environment, and the total raised by many of you will make a huge difference in a number of areas of care.
Pictured is NASA and BAS Director Simon Bentley with Gillian Cribb, Consultant Orthopaedic and Oncological Surgeon, who was the one to treat Bentley last year. If you’d like to read more about the centre, please click here.
